It is ridiculously hot here in California! I mean, I understand that California is one of those “warmer” states but come on, it’s only April! It’s not even only one part of California that is hot; the whole state is burning up. People in the bay area are experiencing low 90’s F while my friends and I in the L.A., O.C., and Riverside areas are experiencing the range of high 80’s F to high 90’s F. I find this ridiculous – well not as ridiculous as high 80’s in January when it was supposed to be winter. This heat makes me want to do nothing except sit around and not think – which is not good since I have a psychology midterm this Thursday… It also doesn’t help when my freshman house at UCI has its AC/heater centrally controlled by the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center. So even if the temperature goes up through the roof or falls horribly down through the floor, the AC and heater rarely get adjusted. At least as the night approaches, the weather gets a little bit cooler. I can say it’s around the low to mid 80’s F right now. 

This weather is making me dread summer, which is my favorite season of the year T_T I wonder if it’ll be consistently in the high 90’s F/low 100’s F or not… or if 2009’s spring season is just a tad bit weird. Anyways, it is time to work on my homework. My common phrase during these extremely hot weathers is “melting into oblivion.” hahaha
