I just don’t like talking over the phone. If I can say it all in a text, I would. I would only call somebody if it is something that requires explanation that fills more than one text message. So, if you can’t tell, I may sound annoyed and/or irritated when you call me. It’s nothing personal, I’m just not a talking-over-the-phone person. That being said, I utterly utterly despise spam calls or telemarketing calls. Like seriously?! I already hate talking over the phone, so why must you annoy me even more?! However, since I feel obliged, I must pick up the call (unless the caller ID tells me who is calling… then NO). Why do I feel obliged you ask? For many reasons. It could be the person who is calling is a relative (I have so many who I do not even know personally) who is looking for my parents. It could be somebody from PBL who has questions or inquiries. It could be somebody related to the project(s) I am working on. It’s always safer to pick up the phone call than to ignore it and have to call them back. But still, in the end, I HATE SPAM PHONE CALLS. And I dislike talking over the phone too. But what can I do? Phones have become such an essential part of life… so if you are a potential spammer waiting to call me, don’t. You will regret it.
